Psalm 19:1-2 – The heavens tell the glory of God, and the skies announce what his hands have made. Day after day they tell the story; night after night they tell it again.
Revelation12:1 – A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth.
The Comet Elenin and Jesus’ Birth
The birth of this child in Revelation 12 (whom John the Apostle identified with Jesus) should have occurred while the Sun was “clothing” the woman, when the Sun was mid-bodied to Virgo. The birth of Jesus also had to be at a time when the moon was at the feet of the virgin (Virgo) and when the sun was mid-bodied to Virgo. In the year 3BC, these two factors came to precise agreement for about an hour and a half, as observed from Palestine or Patmos, between August 27 to September 15 in 3BC.
A number of years ago a film was produced called “The Star of Bethlehem” http://www.bethlehemstar.net/. This film documented the signs given above in relation to the birth of Jesus in 3BC, using a software program called “Starry Night” http://store.starrynight.com/software.html
What this film did not document was the fact that at that time the comet Elenin was also one of the heavenly objects connected to this occurrence. Genesis 49:10 – The scepter shall not depart from Judah, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, the one whom all nations will honor.
At the time of Jesus birth, Elenin was in the constellation of Leo when Jupiter crowned Regulus. Jupiter went retrograde when it reached Elenin, and it was in conjunction with Venus very near Elenin. For three thousand years Elenin has passed between the feet of Leo, but this year will pass from Leo to Virgo just as Jupiter did 2000 years ago!
The Comet Elenin and Jesus’ Return
Revelation12:4 – And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
We return to Revelation 12 and find that once again the comet Elenin is in play. This time, it is heading away from the feet of the constellation of Leo (Judah), and is headed towards the constellation of Virgo. Carl Worline writes:
“During the second half of September, the comet Elenin will be in the constellation of Virgo, the virgin. The sun will also be in Virgo, so the woman (Virgo) will be clothed with the sun. At the same time, the moon will be at the feet of Virgo. During the latter part of September, Elenin moves up the face of Virgo to a place where it would almost appear to be the tears coming from Virgo’s eye as she cries out in pain as she is about to give birth. Then Elenin moves further up Virgo’s face to rest on the top of her head, like a crown. Actually, it will look like a tiara among twelve stars above Virgo’s head.” He also writes that “The planet Venus is in the mid-section of Virgo as if it were a child in its mother’s womb. The Crowning of Virgo happens around September 29, 2011. Is it coincidence that the Palestinians are going to seek full membership in the United Nations around this same time as well? Rosh Hashanah also occurs at this time, but because the festival can only start when the new moon is visible, two witnesses must verify that it is visible. Rosh Hashanah, therefore, is referred to as the feast where “no one knows the day or the hour”. Is it also coincidental that Jesus tells us that of His return “no one knows the day or the hour”, or is all of this God’s timing?
Again, can this really be just coincidence, or are the Sun, Moon, and stars telling us something important?
Genesis 1:14 : ‘And God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years” .’
Luke 21:25 –There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on the earth distress among nations . . .
When end-times signs in the heavens after end-times signs in the heavens begins to be fulfilled, One can only ask: “How close are we to the return of Christ?”

- NASA says the afterglow of a March 19, 2008 gamma ray burst in the Bootes constellation is the most intrinsically bright object ever observed by humans in the universe.
- It shattered the record for the most distant object that could be seen with the naked eye. “It was a whopper,” said Neil Gehrels of the Goddard Space Flight Center. “This blows away every gamma ray burst we’ve seen so far.”
- NASA said the afterglow “was 2.5 million times more luminous than the most luminous supernova ever recorded, making it the most intrinsically bright object ever observed by humans in the universe.”
- The sheer brilliance of the event led some Christian analysts to suggest it was an indicator that Jesus would come back soon.
