Daniel 7:23-24 – “The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms, and it will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it. As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise, and another will arise after them, he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings”.
The European Union (EU): aka the Revived Roman Empire
Is the Roman Empire about to be revived? Perhaps. The Roman Empire is synonymous with Rome’s iron hand, iron grip, iron rule, iron fist, iron heel, iron legions. The first three members of the ancient Roman Empire were: Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg. Those same three members were the first to join the European Union in 1948! Seven other members joined the EU to make the first ten members: in 1957 Italy, Germany and France joined. This was ratified by the Treaty of Rome which formally called this the Revived Roman Empire. In 1973 England, Denmark and Ireland joined, and finally, in 1981 Greece. Today, there are at least 27 members, and it hopes to grow quickly to over 100 in the near future. The EU is constantly calling for larger and more endemic world power claiming it should expand beyond Europe. In 2009, Gordon Brown, Tony Blair, Nicolas Sarkozy, and Jose Barroso all called for a permanent EU presidency and expansion beyond Europe. A “permanent” presidency, was, in fact established, and the first “permanent” president was (and still is) Herman Van Rompuy, a man known for peaceful negotiations and skullduggery.

Not only may America be placed under a dictatorship, so might Europe. Several sites on May 4, 2012 posted articles stating that a covert group of European Union ministers (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain), have drawn up plans to merging the jobs currently done by the president of the European Council, and the president of the European Commission, creating a super-powerful EU president, or European Emperor, whose powers are far greater than those of the US president.
The covert group, spearheaded by German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle, has excluded the United Kingdom from the confidential discussions within the shady “Berlin Group” of Europhile politicians. The new bureaucrat would not be directly elected by voters. If the EU presidency falls under the control of this super-president, they will realize their dream of abolishing Britain and other nation states, thus forming one big nation state under one authority.

The Great Nation of Israel

Israel’s Knesset has approved the seventh national unity government formed through an agreement brokered by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the opposition Kadima party. The new coalition gives Netanyahu a total of 94 votes in the 120-seat Knesset. The new coalition seeks a responsible peace process with the Palestinians and serious talks with Iran about its nuclear program.

Is the European Union headed for a dictatorship? Creating a super-president would represent a massive shift of power into the hands of a single, unelected bureaucrat, a sign that the end times rapidly approach. Israel becoming an exceedingly great army also indicates that the end times is rapidly approaching. Keep your eyes open, and realize that your salvation draws near.
Prophecy continues to unfold as foretold by the Hebrew prophets. The stage is being set. That being said, one can only ask: “How imminent is the return of Yeshua Ha’Mashiach?”
