Luke 21:25 – “There will appear signs in the sun, moon and stars; and on earth, nations will be in anxiety and bewilderment at the sound and surge of the sea.”

Israel
Zechariah 12:2-3 – “I will make Jerusalem a cup that will stagger the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who try to lift that burdensome stone will be cut in pieces, though all the earth’s nations will be assembled against her.” [bold mine]

Just recently President Donald Trump declared that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel which greatly troubled and burdened a large portion of the world’s leaders. Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey threatened to “wipe out all Jews” after the Jerusalem announcement. An emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council was called. It failed, so then an emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly was called. One hundred fifty-one (151) nations voted against Israel, including the European Union representatives, overwhelmingly disavowing Israeli ties to Jerusalem. The vote was 151 in favor and six against, with nine abstentions.
Trump also plans to move the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem at a yet unannounced future date. The anti-Israel crowd’s response brought squeals of outrage from both the Arab Islamists and even from some of the supposed closest allies of the US.
Terry James of Rapture Ready says this of these matters: “I believe this president has been brought forth at this point in history for the specific purpose of supplying American support to God’s chosen people. Far from this being a measure intended to bring peace, however, I think it is becoming obvious that the Lord is using American support to further enrage Israel’s blood-vowed enemies.”
Peace and Safety
1 Thessalonians 5:3 – “When they say, ‘Peace and security’, then sudden destruction comes on them, like labor pains upon a pregnant woman.”
Again, in August 2017 we noted that the International Day of Peace theme for 2017 was: “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety, and Dignity for all.” Efforts to bring this about include:
• The United Nations and the Western diplomats are calling for a “damping-down of the possibility of nuclear conflict.”
• Donald Trump was heralded in December “as the president who will bring Israel peace and security.” (Fox News)
• Trump has even stated that he “has laid a pathway to peace and security in our world” (CNS News).
• Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has stated “that a deal to resolve the Arab-Israeli conflict can come in one fell swoop. – The US secretary of state believes he can resolve the decades-old conflict between Israel and its Arab neighbors in a single ‘deal of the century’.” (Jerusalem Post)
• Any peace treaty must also include the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple (Breaking Israel News).
Wars and Rumors of Wars
Matthew 24:6 and Mark 13:7 – “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed.”

Peace and safety, or security, are far from being established. More so we see instead wars and rumors of wars:
• Syria is still being bombed almost on a daily basis, often by the Israeli Defense Forces, despite Vladimir Putin’s assurances that he will not let the Bashar Assad government fall. Damascus is virtually a heap of rubble but has not yet been completely ruined (Isaiah 17:1-3, Jeremiah 49:23-27).
• Iran has been financing ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, Syria, and other terrorist organizations to foment war.
• Jordan’s King Abdullah II says “the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem at this stage will have repercussions in the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic scene” and adds that it will “endanger the two-state solution” (YNet News).
The Alliance of Nations
• Iran, Turkey, Russia, Libya, and Ethiopia are uniting with a primary goal in mind of invading Israel via Syria. This may lead to the Gog-Magog fulfillment of scripture (Ezekiel 38-39).
• The Iran, Russia, and China alliance is still as strong as ever.
• The surprise alliance of 2017 is the newly formed alliance between Saudi Arabia and Israel. This completes the alliance of nations that will speak against the Iran, Turkey, Russian alliance mentioned above (Ezekiel 38:13).
More Connections
2 Timothy 3:13 – “Evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
2 Peter 3:3 – “In the last days blatant scoffers will come, being propelled by their own evil urges.”
• The scoffers and deniers of scripture, especially of eschatology, grow exponentially (2 Peter 3:3).
• The revealing of sex scandals in Washington D.C. and Hollywood speaks to the worsening evil (1 Peter 4:3).
• Pagan gods and/or their temples have appeared in many places including at the UN. Artificial Intelligence is now worshipped in a church started by an ex-Google employee. The occult is more appealing than ever to Millennials, who are totally fascinated by all things paranormal (1 Corinthians 12:2).
• “Fake News” and other escalations of calling evil, good and/or good, evil abound (Isaiah 5:20).
• Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter, just to name a few, are either banning outright or are limiting posting and/or comments by Christians (Matthew 5:10).
• Business as usual, especially in the US, but also world-wide, has been booming (Luke 17:27-28).
Conclusions
Joel 3:14 – “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision.”
Zephaniah 1:14 – “The great day of Yahweh is near, it is near, and hastens greatly.”
The Israeli connections, the calls for peace and safety, the wars and rumors of wars, the many alliances that are forming just as scripture prophesied, and the denial of those scriptures tell us that the great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly Yahweh is getting ready to change the course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
Rapture Party
