Yom Teruah announces Yeshua’s wedding day, His Coronation as King, and the Day of the Sounding of the Shofar. The blowing of the shofars declares the solemn warning that the gates of heaven are open and that the Court in Heaven is in session. The blowing of the shofars announces the day of the resurrection of the righteous dead and the taking up of the living righteous – the wakening blast!
The Moedim are Dress Rehearsals for prophetic events. The fall moedim have yet to be fulfilled. Yom Teruah is the first of the fall moedim, and will be fulfilled when Yeshua returns to resurrect the dead and rapture his bride. Praise Yahweh and may this Yom Teruah be the day for fulfilling this prophecy.
Break out the shofars! Blow the Shofars. Blow them over 100 times using four different types of blasts. The fourth and final blast, the Tekiah Ha’Gâdôl, is known to the Jews as the “Last Trump”. It is at the last trump that Paul tells us that we are changed from mortal to immortal, from corrupt to incorrupt (1 Corinthians 15:52)!
