Signs In The Heavens

Luke 21:11 – “There will be fearful sights and great signs from Heaven.”
Luke 21:25 – “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.”
The heavens continue to declare the glory of Yahweh. Recent sightings may be fulfilling in part prophecies written thousands of year ago.

The Ghostly Hand
Luke 24:39 – “Behold my hands . . . a ghost doesn’t have flesh and bones”
Acts 7:50 – “Did not my hand make all these things?”

In 2001, NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory first observed the pulsar PSR B1509-58 and revealed that its pulsar wind nebula (referred to as MSH 15-52) resembles the bones in a human hand.

NASA’s newest X-ray telescope, the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE), has recently observed MSH 15-52 for about 17 days, the longest it has looked at any single object since it launched in December 2021.

One particularly interesting feature of MSH 15-52 is a bright X-ray jet directed from the pulsar to the “wrist” at the bottom of the image. Some say this image resembles the hand and nailed wrist of Yeshua when he was crucified.

The Horned Comet
Luke 10:18 – “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

On October 5, 2023 astronomers at the British Astronomical Association detected a large outburst from comet 12P/Pons-Brooks after the comet became dozens of times brighter due to the extra light reflecting from its expanded coma. Over the next few days, the comet’s coma expanded further and developed its “peculiar horns” according to Spaceweather.com.

This is the second time Pons-Brooks sprouted horns this year. On July 20, astronomers witnessed the comet blow its top for the first time in 69 years, and the coma grew to around 143,000 miles (230,000 km), which is around 7,000 times wider than the comet’s nucleus.

Pons-Brooks will reach its closest point near the Sun on April 21, 2024 (i.e. around Passover 2024), when it may become visible to the naked eye before being catapulted back toward the outer solar system. It will not return until 2095. Pons-Brooks is currently in the constellation Draco (the Dragon) in the Northern Sky.

Final Thought for 2023
The stage for Yeshua’s return is being set. Prophecy continues to unfold in an escalating pattern as foretold by the Hebrew prophets. The season of the birth pains is here – they are burgeoning and not going away.
