It is no longer a question of whether (or not) the end time signs Yeshua told us would be happening just before his arrival to resurrect the dead and rapture his bride are burgeoning. Bluntly put, they are. 2024 has once again seen so many prophetical signs that anyone who hasn’t noticed is either blind or willfully ignorant.
Earthquakes and Earthquake Swarms
Mark 13:8 – “There will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines . . . These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.”
Luke 21:11 – “And there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.”
For the past umpteen years I have given the number of earthquakes each year and stated that the total number of quakes has increased each year since 2012. 2024 shows a slight increase in the number of greater earthquakes compared to 2023.

For those who insist on percentages, numbers, and data, below are the mind-numbing 2024 statistics:
The total number of earthquakes (150652) are 10.08 times the average (14194 from 1900 to 2000) and still over 263.8 times the amount in 1949 (571). As of December 31, 2024, the numbers are:
1. Quakes in the 8.0 and above range (0) were 0% of the average since 1900 (1).
2. Quakes in the 7.0 to 7.9 range (10) were only 67% of the average since 1900 (15).
3. Quakes in the 6.0 to 6.9 range (90) were only 67% of the average since 1900 (134).
4. The number of large earthquakes (100) were also only 67% of the average since 1900 (150).
5. The total number of earthquakes (150652) is 19.8 times greater than the total number in the 1950s (7605).
6. The total number of earthquakes (150652) is 7.67 times greater than the total number in the 1960s (19639).
7. The total number of earthquakes (150652), is 1.98 times greater than in any of the years prior to 2012 (76229 in 2000).
The Other Signs
Luke 21:11 – “There will also be famines and pestilences . . .”
Luke 21:25 – “And upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring . . .”
Hosea 4:3 – “The beasts of the field, the fowls of heaven; and the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.”
Below are some of the mind-numbing 2024 details:
• Mass Deaths
Topping the list once again, were the number of abortions performed in 2024. Worldometer showed abortion caused 45.1 million abortions globally last year, cancer caused 8.2 million, smoking 5 million, HIV/AIDS 1.7 million, traffic fatalities 1.35 million, and suicide 1.1 million. In short, abortion was responsible for just over 42% of all human deaths in 2024.
• Billion Dollar Disasters
2024 saw an unprecedented 27 confirmed weather/climate disaster events with losses exceeding $1 billion each just in the United States. Below is a chart showing those events.

• Wildfires
Wildfires in New Mexico caused a billion-dollar event in July. Five wildfires were reported worldwide.
• Volcanoes
2024 saw seventy-two confirmed eruptions of which thirty were new eruptions that started during the year. Forty four volcanoes were still continuing eruptions as of December 23rd, 2024.
• Wind Events
The Atlantic hurricane season produced 18 named storms, 11 hurricanes, and 5 major hurricanes. One of the most destructive was Hurricane Helene, which swept through Florida, Georgia, South and North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Alabama, killing 230 people. Milton occurred only two weeks later.
• Floods
Multiple countries and territories saw severe flooding in 2024. Repoorts show there were 31 of these events worldwide. Tropical cyclone Kristine caused major flooding and landslides in the northwestern Philippines in late October, killing at least 141. Twenty inches of rain fell in the Spanish province of Valencia in just eight hours killing 216 people. In 2024, deadly floods wreaked havoc worldwide, including in Afghanistan, Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, East Africa, and Niger.
• Droughts
Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe all experienced severe droughts in 2024, There were seven events worldwide, and many nations worldwide had dry conditions.
• Famines
Famine in 2024 hit Sudan and Haiti the hardest. Reports of famine in Gaza were greatly exaggerated by the complicit United Nations whose people were later found to be part of the October 7 attack upon Israel.
• Temperature Extremes
According to NASA scientists, the average surface temperatures in 2024 were 2.30 degrees Fahrenheit above their 1951-1980 baseline figures.
Conclusions

Bluntly put: The birth pangs are, indeed, breaking forth. Natural disasters around the world again occurred at an alarming rate in 2024. Earthquakes and fires demolished entire towns or cities, wildfires burned hundreds of thousands of acres – unprecedented in past history. Tornadoes, cyclones, and hurricanes hit the planet, many of which also caused mass flooding and loss of life. Pandemics, both viral, biological, and infestational exploded.

• Prophecy continues to unfold as foretold by the Hebrew prophets. History is moving extremely quickly towards the prophesied one world government, the one world financial system, and the rise of both the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
• The escalation of wars and rumors of wars continues to unfold, both in the Middle East and around the globe.
• Time is incredibly short – The birth pangs are just over the horizon.
• The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay.
• Be sure you are believing The Truth, not The Lie, and maintain an attitude of thanksgiving.
• Be sure Yeshua is your Redeemer, King, and High Priest, and your sins are forgiven.
