Adam’s Bargain With Elohim
We’ve all heard the joke that when Elohim described to Adam this wonderful creature He was about to create and Adam asked what it would cost, Elohim replied, “Well, an arm and a leg, of course!” To which Adam replied, “What will I get for just a rib?” And the rest is history, as they say.
NOT SO FAST . . .
Today we are being inundated by satanically driven gender bending ideologies. According to these misguided ideas there aren’t just two genders, but supposedly dozens, even hundreds of genders. Even when acknowledging just male and female, supposedly men can cut off their privates, become women, and give birth to babies. Women can do anything a man can do, and do it smarter, faster, better. Oh, until a man pretends to be a female, enters women’s sports contests, and beats the livin’ tar out of the girls. Then that is not fair at all – there really is a difference. Give me a break – these ideologies clearly do not know the difference between shitake mushrooms and Shinola shoe paste. Are you kidding me?
We begin our journey by looking at the Biblical Parallels, Patterns, Pictures, and Types in Scripture.
Gender according to Hebrew and Greek Definitions
Genesis 1:27a – “Elohim created mankind [H120 אָדָם] in his own image; in the image of Elohim he created them male [H2145] and female [H5347] he created them.”
Genesis 5:2 – “Elohim created them male [H2145] and female [H5347]. . . on the day they were created.”
There are three main words in Hebrew to define human beings: adam [H120], zakar [H2145], and nqebah [H5347]. he definitions of those words are:
• adam [H120 אָדָם], meaning: a human being, mankind, or man, made of blood, (specifically the male known as Adam)
• male [zakar H2145 זָכָר], meaning: of the male sex; man, men, boy
• female [nqebah H5347 נְקֵבָה, meaning: of the female sex; woman, women, girl
Matthew 19:4 – “Haven’t you read that at the beginning the Creator made them male [G730] and female [G2338].”
Mark 10:6 – “But from the beginning of creation he made them male [G730] and female [G2338].”
In Greek, the words are arrhen [G730 ἄρῥην], meaning a male (as stronger for lifting), and thelus [G2338 θήλυς] meaning a female (as one who suckles at the nipple).
Today these verses are defined to mean that the first adam was both male / female. But that is just plain wrong – the first adam was a male. Today’s ideologues forget that the male, Adam, was created first, then the female, Eve, was created out of Adam’s missing rib (1 Timothy 2:13) – remember Adam’s bargain, smile! They also ignore 1 Corinthians 15:45 which states that the first man, Adam, was created a living soul and the last Adam (Yeshua) was made a life-giving spirit.
But Wait . . .Clearly, other scriptures state there are only two genders – male [zakar]and female [nqebah].
Exodus 21:20 – “If a person beats his male or female slave so brutally that he dies, he is to be punished.”
Exodus 21:27 – “If a person knocks out his male or female slave’s tooth, freedom is given in payment for his tooth.”
Exodus 21:32 – “If an ox gores a male or female servant, the ox’s owner must pay thirty shekels of silver . . .”
Those who today declare multiple genders, again do not know the difference between shiitake mushrooms and Shinola shoe paste. Are you kidding me?
Let us examine the roles and relationship of Yahweh and Yeshua, God the Father and God the Son:
The Roles of Father and Son
1. God is one. God, Elohim [אֱלֹהִים elohim H430], is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father is the King of Kings, Creator, and Lord of Lords. Yeshua, also known as Yahweh in the Tanakh, is also King of Kings, Creator, and Lord of Lords. The Father and Son are one and at the same time, equal. (See John 1:1, 10:30, 17:22)
2. Hierarchy of Authority. Even though Yahweh/Yeshua is one with the Father, he is also subject and submissive to the Father. Scripture is very clear that Yeshua never puts his will above or in place of the will of the Father. (See John 5:30, 5:36, 7:17, 7:28, 8:16, 8:26-28, 10:25, 10:38, 12:49, 14:10)
3. Eternal, not created. Yeshua is the only eternal son, not a son created, as are the angels and Adam.
4. Supporter and Helper. Yeshua is our relief from the wages of sin, the one who uplifts and supports us as we live our daily lives. Yeshua gave up everything to purchase the “Pearl of Great Worth” – each individual person that has ever been born on this planet.
Now Let us examine the parallel roles and relationships of Man And Woman to Father and Son:
The Roles of Man and Woman
The roles of men and women are to mirror the roles of the Father and the Son – Men have been given the role of the Heavenly Father, and women have been given the role of the Mashiach.
1. One Flesh, Equal. basar Genesis 2:24 tells us that when a man and a woman cleave to one another they become one [flesh] (hayah echad basar – hayah הָיָה H1961 echad אֶחָד H259 בָּשָׂר H1320).
2. Hierarchy of Authority. Genesis 2:18 tells us that the woman is to be man’s helper, yet under his authority [ezer עֵזֶר H5828 neged נֶגֶד H5048]. Note that this verse is written in the future tense and that Adam and Eve are not yet married. This means that even unmarried women are to be in submission to men. Genesis 3:16 confirms this hierarchy for married women: the man/husband is to have authority [mashal מָשַׁל H4910] over the woman/wife. This is restated in Colossians 3:19 – “Wives, subject yourselves to your husbands, as is appropriate in the Lord.”
3. Made, not born. Genesis 2:21-24 tells us that Eve was not born, but was made [banah בָּנָה H1129] from Adam’s rib.
4. Supporter and Helper. Again, Genesis 2:18 tells us that the woman was to be Adam’s helper, supporter, and a source of succor [ezer עֵזֶר H5828] who was suitable yet under him [neged נֶגֶד H5048]. The word, succor, means: somebody (or something) that provides help or relief. The woman is to provide relief for the man, but never to exercise authority over the man, just as Jesus is the somebody who has provided relief for humans from the wages of sin and death, and yet is still under the authority of the Father.
The Newer Covenant Roles Of Men
Husbands
1 Corinthians 7:3-4 – “The husband should give his wife what she is entitled to in the marriage relationship . . . the husband is not in charge of his own body, but his wife is.”
Ephesians 5:23 – “The husband is head of the wife, just as the Messiah, as head of the Messianic Community, is himself the one who keeps the body safe.”
Ephesians 5:25 – “As for husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah loved the Messianic Community, indeed, gave himself up on its behalf.”
Ephesians 5:28 – “This is how husbands ought to love their wives — like their own bodies; for the man who loves his wife is loving himself.”
Ephesians 5:33 – “Let each man love his wife as he does himself, and see that the wife respects her husband.”
1 Peter 3:7 – “You husbands, likewise, conduct your married lives with understanding. Although your wife may be weaker physically, you should respect her as a fellow-heir of the gift of Life. If you don’t, your prayers will be blocked.”
It’s not about who does the dishes, or who takes out the trash. The roles of men and women are to mirror the roles of the Father and the Son.
• Men, you have been assigned the role of the Father – we are to accomplish all we have set out to do, and to show the way.
• Men are to be the leader, the discipliners, the head of household.
• Men are to love without reservation, and to do what ever is needed to see that everyone is given all they need to survive and to succeed.
• Men are not to harshly rule over women in any way, shape, or form.
The Newer Covenant Roles Of Women
Wives
Ephesians 5:22 – “Wives should submit to their husbands as they do to the Lord.” (see also Genesis 3:16)
Colossians 3:18 – “Wives, subject yourselves to your husbands, as is appropriate in the Lord.” (see also 1 Corinthians 14:34; Ephesians 5:22; 1 Peter 3:1)
1 Corinthians 7:3-4 – “The [wife] should give [her husband] what [he] is entitled to in the marriage relationship . . .The wife is not in charge of her own body, but her husband is.”
Ladies, you have also been given a role:
• Women have been given the highly favored role of the son who only did what he saw the Father doing.
• Women are to be in submission in order to portray Yeshua to us guys, to show us guys who Yeshua is, how he acts, and what his submission and humility ultimately accomplishes – deliverance from sin, and eternal salvation and life.
The Newer Covenant Roles In The Body of Mashiach
In The Body
Titus 2:1 – “Tell the older men to be serious, sensible, self-controlled and sound in their trust, love and perseverance.”
Titus 2:3-5 – “Likewise, tell the older women to behave the way people leading a holy life should. They shouldn’t be slanderers or slaves to excessive drinking. They should teach what is good, thus training the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to take good care of their homes and submit to their husbands. In this way, God’s message will not be brought into disgrace.”
1 Timothy 2:11-5 – “Let a woman learn in peace, fully submitted; but I do not permit a woman to teach a man or exercise authority over him; rather, she is to remain at peace. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. Also it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman who, on being deceived, became involved in the transgression. Nevertheless, the woman will be delivered through childbearing, provided that she continues trusting, loving and living a holy life with modesty.”
“But I do not allow (suffer) a woman to teach”:
1 Timothy 2:12-14 – “But I do not allow [suffer, permit] a woman to teach or to exercise [usurp, have] authority over a man, but to remain quiet [be in silence, at peace].”
The words “suffer / allow / permit” used by Paul is from the Greek word epitrepō [ἐπιτρέπω G2010]; Epitrepō means: to allow, to give leave (liberty, license), to let, to permit, or to suffer.
Two Greek words are very gender specific. G1135 gunē; means; a woman, women, a bride, or a wife. G435 anēr means: a man, an individual male, a fellow, husband, man, or sir. Paul says he does not permit a woman [gunē γυνή G1135] to teach [didaskō διδάσκω G1321] or usurp authority [authenteō αυθεντέω G831] over a man [anēr ἀνήρ G435]. Authenteō means: to act of oneself, to dominate, or to usurp authority.
The many admonitions that a woman/wife is to be in submission to a man/husband (Genesis 3:16; Ephesians 5:22; Colossians 3:18; 1st Timothy 2:12; Titus 2:5; 1st Peter 3:1, etc.) gives absolute emphasis that women are not free to usurp authority over men, married or not. God knew what would happen if women were allowed to teach men and to usurp authority over them. Because Eve was deceived [exapataō εξαπατάω G1818] meaning to seduce wholly, beguile, deceive – deception would come into the teaching.
Mondo Gonzales writes “It seems clear that the role of senior pastor (and elder) is reserved only for men. The fact that the NT synonymously groups together the roles of elder, overseer, and pastor into the same office (cf. Acts 20:29; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-2), it can be noted that this position is reserved for “men” who are the husband of one wife (1 Tim 3:2; Titus 1:6). This language is inherently male oriented.”
So what is happening today because we do not adhere to Scripture?
In recent history women have been becoming pastors of churches because of an ignorance of scriptures and a lackadaisical attitude on the part of the Church to submission to God’s desire that we obey rather than present sacrifices. Not only have women become pastors, but the majority of the cults today have been started by women who have manipulated the scriptures so that they could, without fear of condemnation, rise to positions of authority over men.
Where would we be if Yeshua had failed to submit to the Father’s will? What if Yeshua had said, “My will be done, not yours, dad. I’m not going to the cross, I’m gonna take a different route. I’m gonna do it my way”. If Yeshua had done that, we’d still be unrighteous sinners with no chance of avoiding hell. But, fortunately, Yeshua did submit, and that is the role that women are to emulate!
When both men and women fail to fulfill these Biblical roles as set forth by Elohim, we choose to follow the example and lifestyle of Satan – we set ourselves up as authorities and gods, not as children of Elohim, not as humble, willing servants to and of Elohim.
Conclusions
When God says something once, LISTEN. When God repeats it multiple times, PAY ATTENTION!
The ungodly rendering of scriptural truth into false doctrines is used by those who wish to supplant Yahweh’s word and lead us into deception. They willingly support the ongoing plan that Satan first used in the Garden of Eden against Eve, when he planted doubt and deception in Eve’s mind by asking: “Did Elohim really say . . .?”
These are just a few scriptural parallels, patterns, pictures, and types that show the awesome role men and women are to play in this earthly realm until Yeshua returns to take us home. I have no doubts that you can find your own parallels to help you be the man or woman that Elohim has called you to be.
Final Thought for 2025
• Prophecy continues to unfold as foretold by the Hebrew prophets.
• History is moving extremely quickly towards the prophesied one world government, the one world financial system, and the rise of both the Antichrist and the False Prophet.
• The escalation of wars and rumors of wars continues to unfold, both in the Middle East and around the globe.
• Time is incredibly short – The birth pangs are just over the horizon.
• The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay.
• Be sure you are believing The Truth, not The Lie, and maintain an attitude of thanksgiving.
• Be sure Yeshua is your Redeemer, King, and High Priest, and your sins are forgiven.
