In February 2018 we looked at how Yahweh exalts his name because he is jealous that his name be known and exalted. We saw how he acts and does many things for the sake of his name, and that he does so in order that his glory will not be given to another. Today we find out how exalted and far reaching his name is:
Known in all Nations
Psalm 86:9 – “All the nations you have made will come and worship before you and will glorify your name.”
Zechariah 14:9 – “On that day Yahweh will become King over all the earth – Yahweh alone, and His name alone.”
Malachi 1:11 – “For from farthest east to farthest west my name will be great among the nations.”
Revelation 15:4 – “All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”
Throughout the entire Bible Yahweh consistently states that his name will be known planet-wide. There will not be a single inch of this earth wherein his name will be unknown.
Above All
2 Samuel 6:2 – “The ark of God bears the Name of Yahweh-Tzva’ot, who is enthroned above the k’ruvim.”
1 Chronicles 13:6 – “The ark of God bears the Name of Yahweh-Tzva’ot, who is enthroned above the k’ruvim.”
Nehemiah 9:5 – “Praise Your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.”
Psalm 8:1 – “Yahweh! Our Lord! How glorious is your name throughout the earth! The fame of your majesty spreads even above the heavens!”
Psalm 148:13 – “Let them praise the name of Yahweh, his glory is above both earth and heaven.”
Philippians 2:9 – “Therefore God raised him to the highest place and gave him the name above every name.”
Not only will his name be known and exalted throughout the planet, his name and glory will be exalted above all praise, all blessings, and above both earth and heaven. Even the Ark of the Covenant bears his name, the name of the One who is seated above the Cherubim.
The Greatness of Yahweh
Deuteronomy 28:58 – “You will fear this glorious and awesome name, Yahweh, your God.”
Isaiah 12:4 – “Make his deeds known among the peoples, declare how exalted is his name.”
Psalm 34:3 – “Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh; let us exalt his name together.”
Psalm 99:3 – “Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is he!”
Psalm 111:9 – “Holy and awesome is his name!”
The name of Yahweh is glorious, great, awesome, feared, and holy. There is no other name that garners this kind of attention and worship. Not one other.
The Name That Belongs to Yeshua
Isaiah 49:26 – “Everyone will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer.”
Ephesians 1:20-21 – “Yeshua is seated at Yahweh’s right hand in heaven, far above every ruler, authority, power, dominion or any other name that can be named.”
Philippians 2:9 – “Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, . . . and every tongue will acknowledge that Yeshua the Mashiach is Yahweh.”
Yahweh and Yeshua are one. Yahweh is the savior and redeemer. The name of Yahweh has been bestowed upon Yeshua – Yeshua IS Yahweh, and all are to acknowledge this fact! His name is above every ruler, authority, power, dominion, and name. There is no greater, more exalted name in the universe.
Conclusions
Yahweh’s name is to be exalted and glorified. It is to be known throughout the entire universe, not just here on planet Earth. His name is above all other names and is greater than any other name. The name of Yahweh has been bestowed upon Yeshua, meaning that Yeshua is Yahweh. His name is above every ruler, authority, power, dominion, and name. There is no greater, more exalted name in the universe.
Final Thought
The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly Yahweh is getting ready to change the course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
