The internet is an amazing tool. No one doubts this. But how is it being used today?
The Good
Proverbs 22:1 – “Rather than wealth, choose a good reputation.”
Job 34:4 – “Let us choose what is right . . . what is good.”
At it’s inception the internet, or World Wide Web, was a tool that allowed researchers to compare and share data. This was a good thing, and led to many advances in science and understanding. It then expanded to allow businesses to interact with other businesses and partners. This was also a good thing and led to reduced expenditures for those businesses, as well as the expansion of numerous new enterprises. Finally it expanded to allow and individuals to quickly interact with each other. This, too, was a good thing and allowed people throughout the world to keep in touch, share stories, make new friends.
The Evil
Genesis 44:4 – “Why have you repaid good with evil?”
But it did not last long. Evil people with evil intentions invaded. Today, this once pristine arena is rapidly becoming one of the platforms through which the One World Government will control the people of the world. It is being filled with lies, deceptions, and sinful abominations.
The Impact
Psalm 37: 27 –“If you turn from evil and do good, you will live safely forever.”
Isaiah 48:20 – “Leave Babylon . . . declare this with a shout of joy, proclaim it, send it out to the end of the earth.”
The impact to conservative, truth telling, God fearing individuals, corporations, and news outlets has already been financially draining. These sites are regularly demonetized. Shadow banning, outright banning, and refusal to allow access or blocking are rampant and will only get more noticeable and substantial. What then is the true church to do?
In short – shepherds, get your flock out of Babylon! The Bible sets forth the appropriate process for witnessing:
• Seek Yahweh and his kingdom – FIRST
• Witness to your immediate family – Second
• Take the Gospel to the community – Third
Yeshua’s ministry was always person to person. Likewise, the apostle’s ministry was also always person to person. This person to person approach changed the world. None of the above people had the internet. They didn’t have telephones, telegraph, radio, television, or stupid phones [which the global system deceptively calls “smart phones”]. They did, however, have “snail” mail and used it to great advantage.
Conclusions
2 Timothy 3:13 – “Evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived.”
The internet, though initially a tool used for good, has increasingly become a force for evil. The impact on individuals and corporations, especially those who believe in Truth, not lies and deception, is becoming oppressive and financially draining. It is time to get back to basics: one on one, person to person ministry. This has always been the best way of reaching the entire world, and modern technology may be the worst. Get out of Babylon. Get out of the Global System.
Final Thought
The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly Yahweh is getting ready to change the course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
