Insights, Prophetic Portents

Pattern Is Prophecy

Jeremiah 22:21 – “You said, ‘I won’t listen.’ This has been your pattern since you were young — you pay no attention to what I say.
2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is God-breathed and is valuable for teaching the truth, convicting of sin, correcting faults and training in right living.
Patterns in the Bible are numerous, but are often disregarded as being prophetic – a disastrous and stupid thing to do. All
Scripture is valuable for teaching and training, and patterns have a great deal to say prophetically.

Patterns
Matthew 12:40 – “For just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the sea-monster, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the depths of the earth.”
The wilderness tabernacle was made in the pattern of the Heavenly tabernacle (Exodus 25:9; Acts 7:44; Hebrews 8:5). The menorah was also made in the pattern of the Heavenly menorah (Exodus 25:40; Numbers 8:4).

The destruction of Sodom and Amora are a prophetic pattern of the destruction awaiting those who today act in the same way (Jude 1:7; 2 Peter 2:6). Likewise, the lifting up of the snake on the pole – all who looked upon it were saved from death (Numbers 21:8-9) is a prophetic prophecy of Yeshua being lifted and saving all from eternal death (John 3:14).

Joseph in Egyptian attire not recognized by his brothers, is a prophetic prophecy of Yeshua, dressed in Roman soldier garb, not being recognized by the Jews of today.
Jonah in the belly of the great fish for three days (Jonah 1:17 and 3:3) is a prophetic pattern of Yeshua being three days and nights in the belly of the earth. Both rose from death and witnessed to people upon resurrection – yet another pattern!

Resurrection and Rapture Patterns
The overwhelming resurrection pattern in scripture, in fact the ONLY resurrection pattern in scripture is that of the person who has been resurrected returning to community to witness! (1 Kings 17: 21-22; 2 Kings 4:18-35; 2 Kings 13:20-21; Jonah 2:1-10; Matthew 27:50-53; Mark 16:9; Luke 8:52-55; Luke 7:11-15; John 11:11-44; Acts 9:36-42; Acts 20:9-10; Acts 14:19-20; Revelation 11:11-12; etc.)

The overwhelming bodily rapture pattern in scripture, in fact the ONLY bodily rapture pattern in scripture is that of the person who has watched as they are ascending! There is not one pattern of a resurrected person and not one pattern of a bodily raptured person instantly disappearing (2 Kings 2:1-11; Acts 1:9-11; Revelation 11:11-12).

Hypocrisy on Display, Perhaps?
Jeremiah 22:21 – “You pay no attention to what I say.”
John Haller in an interview with Tom Hughes recently made a very accurate statement: “One of the things to remember is: pattern is prophecy in Jewish thought.”

The Full interview can be seen here: https://rumble.com/v4901lo-prophecy-update-bible-prophecy-q-and-a-12324.html

Tom Hughes is very representative of a large number of scholars, pastors, and teachers who are well known for teaching the “Instant Disappearance Resurrection / Rapture” (IDR) paradigm. And yet Tom readily agreed with John Haller’s statement that pattern is prophecy!

One can only wonder if those who teach the IDR paradigm are simply blind and deaf, or perhaps downright hypocritical. One thing for sure, they pay no attention to those very patterns they proclaim to be prophetic. Oi Vey.

Conclusions
2 Timothy 4:3-4 – “For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
The prophetic nature of patterns is ignored by many scholars, pastors, and teachers leading them to believe myths, and to have no patience for sound doctrine. Such scholars, pastors, and teachers are those who continue to teach the “Instant Disappearance Resurrection / Rapture” paradigm and ignore the Biblical patterns that ONLY prophecy fully witnessed resurrections and bodily raptures. You will do well to ignore and never again listen to the IDR paradigm.

Pray that the scholars, pastors, and teachers will repent and only teach what scripture teaches.
